👋🏻 Hi, my name is Brandon and I'm an independent language trainer, self-taught, and a native Italian speaker.
In my life, I study communication, general linguistics, and languages such as English, Chinese, German, and Spanish on my own. I love teaching, and helping people understand each other by building a cultural bridge is one of my life goals.
My approach comes from years of experience, ongoing study, and a constant inner journey. It's very natural, and it sees language learning as a personal experience — because I've always believed that experiencing firsthand what you want to learn is the best way to remember it. - I called it "LA BUSSOLA ITALIANA® 🧭🇮🇹 ".
How we will learn together
My method is different because it's built on direct experience. It's easier to remember something when you live it firsthand.
Experiential method (summary):
Together, we'll bring story characters to life through imitation, and sing songs that have shaped the last two generations of Italians.
Good pronunciation is a fundamental key to absorbing any language — a role that's too often overlooked. With my color-coding system, it becomes much easier to understand and gradually master the patterns of standard pronunciation and the phonetic details of everyday speech.
Through our conversations, and through the experience of stories and songs, I'll take note of new words and expressions as we come across them, explaining the meaning, context of use, and any nuances behind each one.
Memorizing rules by heart doesn't get you far. Grammar is a tool for giving logical shape to the weave of our thoughts and emotions — so to understand it better, we'll look at it through a logical-emotional lens. This makes it far easier to grasp how sentences are built, from the simplest to the most complex.

🌿 A deep experience:
Learning a language does not mean memorising rules and vocabulary, but absorbing another way of feeling and thinking with which to add new facets to our personality, and to gain new points of view through which to assess reality. I am deeply convinced of this, and it is with this state of mind that I dedicate myself to learning and teaching every day. Many students tell me that this experience has changed them, not only in the way they speak Italian, but also in the way they are with themselves and with the world around them.

Course format:
If you need to reschedule or cancel a lesson, I kindly ask you to let me know as soon as possible — ideally at least a day in advance.
Online 1-on-1 lessons via Voov Meeting (on iPad and/or computer), plus WhatsApp/WeChat for sending files and notes.
I teach every day of the week, currently only from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM (Italian time). We'll agree together on when to meet, based on both our schedules.
