Translation:

My name is Li Shilin, and I am a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence. I met Brandon through a friend, thanks to whom I found a very important person in my life.

During his lessons, I saw in him not just a teacher doing his job, but also a friend who constantly guides me in the right direction. In class, he doesn't just talk about boring grammar and vocabulary, but uses various enjoyable methods, such as films and music, to help me learn Italian better. He also shared with me a lot of information about Italian culture, allowing me to understand this country more deeply and develop a greater interest in learning the language.

After spending some time together, I realized that in his lessons, I wasn't just learning the Italian language, but also receiving constant encouragement. Before meeting him, I had never spoken up during lessons with other teachers, but with him, I began to open up, first talking about recent events, and then about our personal lives. We stay in touch even outside of lessons, asking each other about our days, and whenever I need help with Italian, Brandon responds promptly. Thanks to Brandon's guidance, I now feel confident using grammatical structures that I wasn't familiar with before, even during conversations with others.

For various reasons, I had to stop taking lessons with Brandon, but this doesn't mean we've lost contact, because more important than his role as a teacher, is his role as a friend. If you have the good fortune to meet this witty and fun teacher, you will understand what I mean.

I'm not very good at expressing myself with words, but in the end, I want to thank Brandon for offering me a truly extraordinary learning experience that has helped me immensely in my life in Italy.
