About me

Hello everyone,
my name is Brandon. I’m a native speaker and a language guide! In life, I work in Italian language education and cultural integration. I’m truly excited to help all of you learn the Italian language and culture. For me, it’s a real way of life. It’s a desire that has been with me since childhood, and one I have always believed in despite many difficulties. My goal was — and still is — to give you a voice in this language.

When I was a child, in the town where I lived, I saw that foreigners were in great difficulty: adults and children who, once they arrived here, were no longer able to communicate. For them, it was like losing speech and hearing, and this put them in a condition of vulnerability. Some people tried to help them, but with little result; many others remained indifferent or stared out of curiosity, while others even mocked them and enjoyed seeing their struggle.

In my heart, a flame burned like a red giant. I decided that one day I would do something to help them; but I was just a little boy, and at that moment I couldn’t do anything except console someone who was crying and be friendly and curious with all of you, eager to get to know you and understand what you wanted to say.

As I grew up, everything around me seemed to go in the opposite direction of my desire: the local trends, the study path I was forced to undertake years later, even the very place where I lived felt unsuitable… But I didn’t care, because every time I helped someone understand something better (for example classmates with English, science, history, and… yes, even Italian) I felt a light turn on inside me. And to be honest, I wasn’t the only one who benefited — the other person was enriched by something beyond the concepts we talked about; their sense of blockage and frustration decreased, and sometimes even disappeared entirely.

After finishing high school, I had serious health problems, and my future became very uncertain — I was only 18 or 19 years old. Despite everything, I focused most of my energy on a long, daily activity of linguistic, cultural, and emotional exchange with people from many different countries. It was very formative and, in some way, I was finally fulfilling the desire of my heart.

Over time, I developed an approach and a method based on practice and emotion — tested and refined through real experience — and I formally began my teaching career. My approach, which I named “LA BUSSOLA ITALIANA® 🧭🇮🇹” (The Italian Compass) — has been of great help to many, and that makes me truly happy. It’s constantly evolving and growing along with me — a genuine inner journey. 🤲🏻🤲🏻🤲🏻

My teaching style has a strong human and personal touch. My curiosity has also led me to explore certain areas of learning science and psychology which, together with my deep personal journey, have enhanced my awareness over time — something I share with all of you during the learning process.

In me, you’ll find an empathetic teacher who continuously supports you and offers emotional guidance when you need it. I don’t see you as “a student,” but as a human being learning together with me — someone who deserves kindness, understanding, and respect just as much as I do. You can feel free to be yourself, because I’m not here to judge you, but to share my knowledge with you and help you make it your own.
